３人一組とし、ゼッケンは一番前の人がつけることとします。
３人の組み合わせは、男女、年齢問いません。
縦一列に並んで足首をゴム紐で繋げます（ゴム紐は事務局で準備、写真参照）。
二人目は一人目の肩に手を乗せ、三人目は二人目の肩に手を乗せて走り、その形でゴールすることで順位がつきます。ただし、大人と子供の組み合わせのように背の高さが異なり、肩に手を乗せることが難しい場合は、腰辺りの服をつかんだりすることでもOKとしますが、基本的には足だけでなく、二人目と三人目の両手が前者の体に触れていることを条件とします。
危険を伴う組み合わせのエントリーにつきましては、ご遠慮頂けますようお願い致します。

※ “Centipede race” rules

The number must be worn by the first person in front.
Any combination of three persons, regardless of gender or age, can be used.
The three runners must line up vertically in a single file and tie their ankles together with elastic bands (the elastic bands will be provided by the Secretariat).
The second person places his/her hand on the shoulder of the first person, and the third person runs with his/her hand on the shoulder of the second person, and the goal is reached in that form to rank the runners. However, if it is difficult to put hands on shoulders due to different heights, as in the case of a combination of adults and children, grabbing clothes around the waist is acceptable, but the basic condition is that both hands of the second and third person must touch the body of the former.

注意事項

田んぼ内は裸足でも入れますが、原則、怪我防止のため田植え足袋（もしくは、それに順ずるもの）をご準備ください。
田植え足袋は、ビニール製の足袋で、ホームセンター等でご購入いただけます。
長靴や靴下等で田んぼ内に入りますと土に長靴が食い込み動けなくなります。
当日、現地での販売はありませんので、ご注意ください。
服装については田んぼ内に落下するような飾りがついたものはご遠慮ください。
ペット同伴はご遠慮ください。
