Kampo Nouho Mai
KOSHIHIKARI
What is Kampo Nouho Mai(rice)?
Rice grown with life on the earth
A unique farming method called Kampo Nouhou mixes herbal medicines into the soil to improve the power of the soil.
As a result, the forces of the soil prevent plants from getting sick. We believe that this phenomenon is the same as the improvement of human natural healing power.
In addition, the smell of herbal medicine is a pest prevention.
By not using pesticides or chemical fertilizers, many microorganisms are activated and plants grow. Therefore, it can be rephrased as “The connection of many lives on the earth grows important plants.”
Based on the principle of not using pesticides or chemical fertilizers
Kampo Nouho Mai is grown in rice fields that do not use any pesticides or chemical fertilizers. For that reason, even the grass that grows on the ridges is cut by hand, and no herbicides are used.
Rice fields without pesticides or chemical fertilizers
There are various rules in the world, so there are some things that cannot be said unconditionally, but in general, it takes three years to make a rice field that can be said to be pesticide-free and chemical fertilizer-free.
For example, even if you grow crops without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers from this year, you cannot say that the crops are “pesticide-free” if they were grown in fields that used pesticides and chemical fertilizers in the past. Because the effects of pesticide residues are long-lasting.
We have been growing Kampo Nouhou Mai without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers for more than 10 years, but it took us three years to sell our rice as “pesticide-free”.
In other words, strict conditions are imposed on “pesticide-free”.
We adhere to strict conditions and build the brand of Kampo Nouho Mai.
OUR THOUGHTS
2021.08.22
Over the past 10 years, many agricultural staff have taken care of the rice fields to keep them in optimal condition. We will carry on their thoughts without wasting their efforts of sweat and tears. And we will connect that thought to the children who will live in the future.
This year’s rice farming is also in very good condition due to past experiences and new improvement measures. So, we will continue to do our best to maintain the good condition until the day of rice harvest and deliver good Kampo Nouho Mai to everyone.
